The American Delegation (ABET) for accreditation committee of engineering and technological programs and computing sciences visits the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning

The American Delegation (ABET) for accreditation committee of engineering and technological programs and computing sciences, led by Professor Jim Lokado and the Vice Dean of Applied Medical Sciences college Dr. Fahd  Al- Zafeeri and the Chancellor in the Applied Medical Sciences college Prof. Adnan Al-Naifah visited the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning. The delegation was met by HE the Vice Dean of e-learning and distance learning for Technical Affairs Dr. Omar Bin Salem Al-Saeedi, they viewed e-services provided by the Deanship which are e-supplies at lecture rooms such as smart boards, E-podiums, and projectors in addition to the LMS, Learning Object Repository system (LOR), and the Committees and Councils system, in addition to the technical support system and e-training system, and E-courses Production and Development Center. Also, a number of applications were viewed which the university is working to develop such as the Educational Mobile application, and the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning application for various operators. At the end of the meeting the delegation was given a number of products by the Deanship such as the D2L user guide in English language. The delegation expressed their admiration for the services of the Deanship for faculty members and students and introducing them to the latest findings of technology in the world of e-learning. It is worth mentioning that this visit aimed at identifying the role of Deanship and evaluating the e-services provided for science colleges.
