The College of Medicine secures top rankings in the University Rector’s Award for Quality and Excellence

The College of Medicine won several top positions in the University Rector’s Award for Quality and Excellence for the academic year 1446 AH, showcasing the strength of its academic programs, outstanding outcomes, and exceptional individual contributions.

The Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program was awarded first place in the Academic Programs category. In the Faculty Member category, Dr. Abdullah Al-Munifi, Head of the Department of Surgery, earned second place in recognition of his academic distinction and impactful contributions to both education and research development.

In the Student category, Rakan Al-Suwaid achieved first place, while Reema Al-Munif secured third place in the Female Student category—highlighting the outstanding performance and dedication of the college’s students at the university level.
