The Applied College signs MoU with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “Modon”

The Applied College, MU signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Estates and Technology Zones “Modon” to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides, create various opportunities in the field of training and academic services, and open the door for students to increase their chances of having jobs after graduation.

This is held under the supervision of the Human Capacity Development Program in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to invest in national talents and competencies, and ensure alignment between educational outcomes and labor market needs.

The agreement featured multiple partnerships in different areas including:

 

- Providing training and consultations to develop knowledge and skills for both sides.
- Support the community initiatives and programs held by the Applied College.
- Provide field training for students nominated by the College of Applied Sciences.
- Provide job opportunities for graduate students in factories and entities under the Authority’s supervision.
- Exchange scientific and academic experiences to achieve the both sides' goals.
- Qualify graduate students for the labor market in related specializations.
 
The MoU was signed by  the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer, and the Executive Vice President of Institutional Services, Eng. Mamdouh Al-Drees.
