University Vice -Rectorship receives a Request from the Food and Drug General Authority to take advantage of university expertise in systems and procedures of Safety and Occupational Health

In a new success added to the university, a request was received from the Authority for Food and Drug to benefit from the university experience in the application of Safety and Occupational Health, participate in reviewing the systems and procedures for safety and occupational and environmental health in the Authority, be visited by specialists from the Authority and check the systems and procedures applied in this respect, cooperate in the fields of training and safety awareness, and participate in the activities of inspection and evaluation of safety and occupational health. The Vice-Rector, Dr. Muslim Bin Mohamed Al-Dossari stated that the Vice-Rectorship had received a directive from the Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al- Muqrin to respond to the Authority’s request and to cooperate fully with it because of the distinct position it occupies as it touches an important aspect of the well-being and health of citizens in the country. The Rector also congratulated the Vice-Rectorship represented by the Department of the University Environment and Occupational Health for achieving excellence in its works since the department inception and the exercice of its functions in accordance with the University organizational structure, and through which it aimed at preparing the university environment in accordance with the academic quality standards and their requirements to achieve an ideal environment for the University staff from students, employees and faculty members. These regulations also include the environment of special needs. Dr. Al-Dosari wished his department‘s employees continuous excellence and uniqueness to achieve the university’s objectives through its strategic plan.
