The University Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Saad AlMugren, Inaugurated electronic systems for the department of services at the university, namely: (Vehicle management system, and the system of university transportation) in the presence of His Excellency (the Vice Rector, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari) and a number of employees of the university. The inauguration ceremony began with speech, by His Excellency Director of Services Department, Mr. Mute'eb bin Mohammed Al Maimoni, thanked the University Rector and the Vice Rector for their presence to launch e-systems within management services, then he presented a presentation of the electronic systems.
Then the Vice Rector, Dr. Musalam Al Dosari, thanked the Rector to launch e-systems within management services, which is one of the electronic transformation plans in all transactions in the departments of the Vice Rectorship since the university transportation system (which has contributed to the development of the students' transfer from homes to colleges and the oppisite) has facilitated to anyone from obtaining any service requested, and online registration for the female students, they are getting approved tracks for buses and their numbers, in addition to other services in restricting the itineraries where the students have been registered their tracks, and their faculties in daily list. These lists are being prepared female students by them are uploaded electronically by transportations offices in colleges. And also upload the daily movement of buses through the system, and treating observations quickly if one exists. The program also offers a number of other features that serve colleges, students of excellence, practical application, activities, and visits according to electronic schedule prepared before. The system also helps to evaluate male and female who are working in electronic transportation project daily, and it facilitates the follow up the performance of the service executers for university students. The vehicle management system contributed to the restriction of all university vehicles, and registered them after linking them to the gate of Interior Ministry for users by uploading electronic files for all vehicles and expenses for those buses of fuel and others, and also scheduling the vehicles that work either temporarily or permanently by documenting the job type through the system, in addition to a number of electronic forms, which is given through the system to all colleges, deanship, and departments.
His Excellency also pointed out that it comes in purse of the Rectorship to prepare all units, departments and deanships for electronic transformation in all services provided. It should be noted that the University Rector ,during this meeting, has been informed of a brief report about the department of services during the first semester of the year 1435-1436 AH.
