Rector of the University Dr. Khaled bin Saad al-MuqrinIn augurated the third version of committees and councils system during a ceremony held in the meeting hall in the presence of members of the University Council which is consisted of university rectorships, deans and support deanships, and directors of the general departments. The inauguration ceremony began withe a speech by His Excellency the Vice Rector and the supervisor on the deanship of e-learning and distance learning, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dossari, where he thanked the Rector of the University on what the deanship of e-learning and distance learning find from continue support and provision what the deanship need of requirements and needs. Then, His Excellency explained what the third version of committees and councils system is containing of added features and new icons which enables the user of this system to benefit from the properties by and large. Where His Excellency explained that the third version has been developed in line with the university's identity and vision of development through the following: Modifying the general appearance of the system such as design, colors, changing the appearance of icons, the development of the application of the system on smart devices (ios and android), modifying entry lecturer service in English language, and adding special icons of circulars, decisions and alerts by the authorized. In addition to add some of the procedures that control and speed up the operations of establishing the sessions and raising records such as the inability to establish a session after the date of the session in a week, and to enable the chairman of the committee or the council from signing automatically after lifting the session to the members to sign. In the case of delay by the committee from signing for a period of 48 hours, the record be signed electronically instead of him, and other developmental services. His Excellency also pointed out that the deanship is vey proud of projects of committees and councils system, and it is seeking to develop them to keep up with the development of modern scientific technology, and taking of proposals and ideas of users of this system of university employees.
After that, the University Rector Dr. Khaled bin Saad Almugrin praised of what the system has achieved of success, considering the launch of committees and councils system in the third edition is an extension to the initiatives of the university and its success in a number of areas which has been done by university youth who were able to turn a lot of obstacles to the achievements. Although the beginning difficulties and the lack of electronic infrastructure, but this system was completed and applied in a distinctive way, and he added that we inaugurates its third edition. It is worth mentioning that the system met admiration of many officials in a number of government sectors, until it became a requirement for all governmental institutions and also universities.
Then the University Rector emphasized that the work at the university is continuous institutional work and doesn't not breaks down of changing anyone and it is in permanent evolution. He also stressed that the university is a sincere with their employees and appreciates who is working and reward performing and concludes. His Excellency also thanked and appreciated the Vice Rector and the supervisor of the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Learning on the achievements made in the deanship, then he also thanked the team work of the committees and councils system. Finally, he directed all to work hard and walk towards the progress and distinction in order to compete finest local, Arab and international universities .
