The committee of projects studying and determining the priorities and needs of the university held its eighth meeting on Wednesday 24/7/1436 AH under the chairmanship of the Vice Rector (chairman of the committee) Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dossari. The committee has reviewed a number of topics related to its work, and has taken a number of recommendations. The committee discussed the project of spare environment development for e-learning system and content system which incomes from the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning, which aims to develop training and technical experiment for the integration of e-learning system and the active file to the university network to activate access information automatically. The committee also discussed Mastering Physics project to physics course in program of Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences which was received from the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning.
The Committee also discussed the nature of its tasks and functions assigned to it in the light of the trend for assigning many of committee's work and functions to the project management office and the resultant outcomes of the workshop, which was held to study the proposed amendments to the university project management procedures.
