Majmaah University participates with a Paperwork at the Associated Conference of the 20th Committee Meeting of the Universities and Higher Education Institutions Rectors and Deans at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)

Represented by the University Rectorship, Majmaah University participates with a Paperwork at the Associated Conference of the 20th Committee Meeting of the Universities and Higher Education Institutions Rectors and Deans at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Paperwork entitled "Scientific research and investment at the industrial cities" and was co-authored by the Rectorship team represented by HE Dr. Musallam bin Muhammad Al-Dosari and HE the Vice dean for Academic Affairs  at the Engineering College Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Abdul Karim. The Paperwork explained the reasons for the weakness of the partnership between Saudi universities and the private sector as a strategic partner. Also, it stressed on the importance of cooperation with the private sector in the field of scientific research and the initiative to increase the private sector's confidence in universities, since that universities have human efficiencies in several fields.

The paper also pointed out to the cooperation between the university and the industrial cities "cities" as a research partner for the existence of the largest industrial city in Saudi which Sudair Industry and Business City within the University of geographic area. The paper summarized a number of recommendations, including the establishment of supportive investment services for the private sector services to enhance the private sector confidence in the university technical and research capabilities to benefit from the profits of such investments in the field of scientific research.

This study also provided the idea for the establishment of electrical devices calibration and examination laboratory in Sudair Industrial and Business City, the objectives of this project are the following:

-  Provide supporting services to the industrial sector through the calibration of measurement devices.

-  Enhance research in the field of electrical devices calibration and calibration and examination.

-  Support and rehabilitation Saudi employees to do such qualitative tests.

-  Support Community Service through the examination and matching of goods quality.

It is worth mentioning that HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Abdul Karim had presented the paper on behalf of His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam bin Muhammad Al-Dosari.
