HE The Vice Rector discusses the electricity status with the Department of the operation and maintenance at Ghaat college

HE the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari was Briefed on the incoming report by the Public Department for operation and maintenance about the power failure at Gaat college of Science and Humanities. Where HE the General Director of Public department for operation and maintenance mr. Othman Al-Issa pointed that the site has been looked at closely right after after the occurrence of the problem and a wander has been made around the building to check on the maintenance. A meeting has been set with officials from the building and a technician from the department of operation and maintenance at Zulfi and Gaat.
Mr. Othman Al-Issa explained that a team had been assigned to submit a report on the situation by the operating and maintenance contractor at the university. Also, a report was requested by the department of Civil Defence and another one from the electricity company, whose director graciously responded to the team in charge and discussed with them the matter. HE ordered to facilitate the company's possibilities to solve the electricity problems; a technician was assigned to measure the voltage of the college and raise the effort and change some cable’s. Also, a meeting has been set up with the Dean of the College to clarify what had happened. 
HE Mr. Othman Al-Issa stated that a test has been made for the electrical loads and it were turned on over three days to determine the readiness of the building.
In this context HE the Vice Rector pointed out that the building status of Gaat college of Sciences and Humanities is the concern of the university led by the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin, Therefore the priority choice was for that college to be an urgent new established buildings, that was constructively completed nearly 80%. Also, the university is seeking to find alternative temporarily solutions at the female students colleges until the completion of the urgent project, God willing.
