Under the chairmanship of the Vice Rector chairman of the committee of safety and security at university Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dossari. The committee of safety and security at university held its ninth and tenth sessions for the academic year 1435/1436 dated on 07/08/1436 AH. The committee reviewed a number of recommendations from the past sessions and follow-up what has been done towards completed them, as the committee discussed a number of topics including:
A proposal from the General Administration of Facilities and Services to form a committee whose functions in the diagnosis and preview the university buildings and facilities, monitoring and restricting observations and remedy them directly. The committee has supported this proposal and recommended to form a subcommittee from the committee of safety and security at university and holds membership of the competent authorities.
The Committee also reviewed the telegram came from HE the Minister of Education included the issuance of a number of brochures, which includes some of the rules and regulations directed to the work of security and safety in higher education institutions, namely: (Prevention requirements for fire protection, the plan of management of dangerous materials and its pouring, evaluate the effectiveness of the occupational safety and the safety of the student, the effect of the availability the means of protection and fire protection in the universities' buildings to reduce the exposure of residents to the loss of life and property). The Committee recommended to publish these brochures electronically by using university website and supply the competent authorities with copies from them to see and benefit from them to adopt any initiatives included in those brochures for applying.
