JAPANESE AMBASSADOR TOURS MU

Fumio Iwai, the Japanese ambassador to the Kingdom, visited Majmaah University where he was welcomed by the acting rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari.

The visit featured a rhetorical ceremony during which the acting rector, Prof. Al-Dosari talked about the importance of this visit, pointing out that this visit is a result of the university’s cooperation with a number of educational institutions in Japan.

The ambassador, who was aware of the university’s activities, expressed his gratitude for visiting the university, showing a great deal of interest for cooperation in mutual areas.

Iwai toured some of the university’s projects and initiatives such as MU International Prosthetic Rehabilitation Center and the mobile community initiatives.

He also visited the Deanship of Library Affairs, University Pioneer Schools, Astronomical Observatory in Hawtat Sudair as well as some historical locations in Majmaah like Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sana’a School and the historic military palace.

By the end of the visit, the ambassador received a memorial shield from the acting rector, Prof. Al-Dosari.

During his visit to Majmaah, the ambassador was also welcomed by Majmaah Governor, Prince Abdelrahman bin Abdullah bin Faisal.
