The Center for Engineering Research and Applied Sciences received a delegation from the Sudair First Company for Renewable Energy

 

The director and members of the Center for Engineering Research and Applied Sciences received a delegation from the Sudair First Company for Renewable Energy on Tuesday.
The delegation's visit began with a tour of the laboratories of the Center for Engineering Research and Applied Sciences, introducing the delegation to the qualitative laboratory equipment related to research in the fields of renewable energy. The Sudair power project is the largest of its kind in the Kingdom and the Middle East, with an expected generation capacity of 1,500 megawatts using more than three million solar panels.

The director of the Research Center also discussed the research services that the center can provide to provide optimal solutions to the most important challenges facing the operation and production of renewable energy. The company expressed its willingness and desire to accept a number of students from Majmaah University for cooperative training in the company.

The delegation, in coordination with the Center for Engineering Research and Applied Sciences at the Deanship of Scientific Research and the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, visited the College of Engineering and presented a workshop for graduates on challenges and opportunities in the field of renewable energy.
