3rd meeting of Office of the Dean for Graduate Studies

In line with its meetings for the academic year 1439/1440 AH, the council of Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies held its third meeting on Sunday 26/2/1440 AH, at 11:00 am. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of Graduate Studies Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Aljadua' who welcomed Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Ahmed Al-Olaiwi as a representative of College of Education in Zulfi, and Vice Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Shadi bin Abdullah Shuweir for his appointment as a member of the council and its secretary.
After addressing a number of issues raised by the colleges, the following recommendations were made:
Firstly, Approval to form a viva examination panel for the MA student Reem bint Ali Al Saadoun, Department of Islamic Studies, College of Education in Majmaah.
Secondly: Approval to launch the Graduate Students’ Research Funding Program.
Thirdly: briefing the Council on the letter of the Secretary General of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties regarding obtaining professional classification.
Fourthly: briefing the Council on the letter of the Minister of Education regarding the request to report the expansion of academic programs and initiatives, especially at the level of graduate studies.
Fifthly: Examining some of the colleges’ requests to develop Master degree programs.
