At the request of Dr. Omar Al-Omar, Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, the college organized a visit to the Heritage Village in Ghat and Ghat Museum on Monday evening. Mr. Abdullah Al-Khudayri from the Museums Authority welcomed them and explained various aspects of the region's heritage. The Ghat Museum is one of the most prominent sites in the historic town, depicting the social life, history, and folk heritage of the region across all eras. It also showcases the contribution of people in building the Saudi state. The museum's halls narrate the history of Ghat from the prehistoric period, followed by the pre-Islamic, Islamic, and modern historical periods.
The students were accompanied by the Director of Support Services, Mr. Khalid Al-Sahli, from the Dean's Office, Mr. Saifi Al-Mutairi, and from the Department of Relations and Documentation, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Hussain and Mr. Abdullah Al-Fajr.
