The Vice-Rector for Development and Investment launches a workshop on the Self-sponsored Educational Programs system

The Vice-Rector for Development and Investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, launched the workshop explaining the Self-sponsored Educational Programs system, in the presence of the dean of the Institute of Studies and Consulting Services, Dr. Saad Al-Roshoud, the dean of Information Technology and E-Learning, and the representative of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.

In a welcoming speech by the Vice-Rector, he extended his thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the system and the support provided to launch the system in its first version. He also explained that this workshop is to introduce how to use the system.

Dr. Al Roshoud explained the main objectives of the system and the expected results that will contribute to the completion of work related to the programs (Master’s or Higher Diploma) or a post-secondary diploma.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Anazi and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zamil, gave a lengthy explanation about the system with the help of Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Turaiqi, highlighting the various stages of the system starting with adding the details of full time and part-time faculty members to the system after their identity being verified via the Nafath platform and ending with signing contracts and issuing a certificate of completion signed electronically.

A Q&A session was held prior to the end of the workshop where were answered by the Institute’s Deputy for Academic Affairs and Continuing Education Programs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghufaili.
