The General Administration of Projects, Operation and Maintenance began to prepare the site for sighting the crescent of Ramadan 1445. The site was maintained including the road leading to the observatory site. Directional panels were installed and floor fixed along with internal and external lighting. An electric generator was also provided.
These works are being carried out in cooperation with the Hawtat Sudair Astronomical Observatory.
