Upon the guidance of his Excellency, the Rector of the university and his ongoing follow-up, the Supreme Committee for the University and Community Forum continues its preparatory meetings, which will be organized by the university, in Zulfi Colleges on 8-9/04/1434 H corresponding to 18-19/02/2013, under the auspices of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education, under the slogan (Our University is The Way of our development). The Committee held in the meeting hall under the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Committee, His Excellency, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Shaya, Head of the Scientific Committee, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Atrem, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Dr. Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Suwaiket, Chairman of the Exhibition and Activities Committee, Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh al-Aboudi, a member of the Supreme Committee, Mr. Nasser Bin Ibrahim Al-Yousef, and Secretary of the Committee, Mr. Abdullah Al-Salman . During the meeting, they discussed the preparations and necessary equipments for the Forum, the objectives of the Forum, working papers that would be discussed during the meeting , names of speakers and sessions chairmen. In addition to, display the participating parties in the forum and its exhibition. Members of the Committee cared about showing this event in such a way that reflects the mission of the university towards the community; because it highlights the main role of the university concerning the local development, through developmental , cultural, medical, counseling, rehabilitation, advocacy, and social services, which make this university, a sponsor of the local development, in the context of cooperation agreements, and associated projects with various governmental and private parties. Since the slogan of the Forum (Our University is The Way of Our Development), that proves the university contribution in the development of various dimensions in the light of teamwork, where faculty members , deanships, and students of the university cooperate appropriately with the representatives of the governmental and Civil societies; to provide integrated visualization describes the reality and lead to future.
