Sponsored by the Dean of the College of Dentistry Prof. Mansour bin Ibrahim Al-Mansour the college set up a workshop discussion under the title "Good Test Specifications in the Light of Educational Objectives" and was presented by D. Khamis Abdallah Rizk. The meeting dealt with the standardized terms of test quality, validity and reliability, diversity and inclusiveness, justice and distinguishing , the beauty of deliverance , the linguistic accuracy and clarity as the meeting discussed the types of tests their advantages and disadvantages; different levels of thinking and the need to take account of these levels.
The recommendations following this discussion as follows:
Achieving the specifications of the good test.
Diversity the forms of questions.
Diversification levels of questions in terms of difficulty.
Graduating question levels and taking into account individual differences.
Inclusion of most of what has been taught.
Good typography and good coordination of the test.
Clarity in the wording of questions and linguistic accuracy.
Clarity of the test purpose and the development of appropriate questions for this purpose.
