1- Local Development Programs Unit:
- Follow up on the implementation of community service programs in line with the university's tenth development plan and second strategic plan.
- Activate the university's role in developing the local community in social, economic, cultural, health and workforce employment fields.
- Propose plans to develop the local community's awareness of its contribution to participating in the university's activities.
- Promote the culture of collective participation in implementing development goals.
- Suggest proposals that contribute to overcoming obstacles to achieving this role.
2- Community Service Follow-up Unit in the colleges:
It is responsible for following up on the mechanism for conducting community service programs in the colleges and supporting them in the field of community service.
3- Mobile Community Services Unit:
It is responsible for following up on the mechanism for providing community services through the observatory's mobile centers.
4- Awareness and Education Unit:
It is responsible for proposing awareness and education programs through educational and training programs, seminars and lectures that help in promoting the culture of community service, and proposing holding scientific conferences about community service issues, and cooperating with the media in this field, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
5- Community Participation Unit:
It is responsible for following up on community service work, developing the environment, and evaluating the programs and plans implemented by the relevant departments in the university, proposing supportive plans to build permanent relationships with community institutions and individuals to contribute to supporting the university’s initiatives and operational plans, and building the university’s annual plan for participation in various community events.
