1- وحدة برامج التنمية المحلية:

وتتولى متابعة تنفيذ برامج خدمة المجتمع الواردة بخطة التنمية العاشرة للجامعة، والخطة الاستراتيجية الثانية للجامعة، وتفعيل دور الجامعة في تنمية المجتمع المحلي في المجالات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية والصحية وتوظيف القوى العاملة، واقتراح الخطط الكفيلة بتطوير وعي المجتمع المحلي نحو إسهامه في المشاركة في أنشطة الجامعة من خلال نشر ثقافة مبدأ المشاركة الجماعية في تنفيذ أهداف التنمية، وتقديم المقترحات التي تسهم في تجاوز معوقات تحقيق هذا الدور.

1- Local Development Programs Unit:

- Follow up on the implementation of community service programs in line with the university's tenth development plan and second strategic plan.

- Activate the university's role in developing the local community in social, economic, cultural, health and workforce employment fields.

- Propose plans to develop the local community's awareness of its contribution to participating in the university's activities.

- Promote the culture of collective participation in implementing development goals.

- International conferences stress the importance of family in general and childhood in particular, such as the Doha International Family Conference - Arab Childhood Committee, 2015-2030.

- Creating the Family Affairs Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- Bridging the gap at the national level 

اعتنى الإسلام بالأسرة بشكل عام والطفل بشكل خاص ، حيث أكد على توفير الحياة الكريمة الآمنة المطمئنة السعيدة لهم ، وتظهر هذه العناية من خلال الآيات الكريمات في كتاب الله - عز وجل - وأحاديث المصطفى - صلى الله عليه وسلم - والتي بينت للعالم أجمع ما توليه شريعتنا الإسلامية الغراء من حرص وعناية واهتمام بهذا المكون المجتمعي الهام.
