The library should be a beacon of knowledge and science, a center for providing information sources in different forms, and a source for learning, research and innovation.
The General Administration of Libraries and Knowledge Resources at Majmaah University began to improve the university libraries since the appointment of a supervisor by 22/6/1431. These changes resumed until it was turned into the Deanship of Library Affairs and a dean was appointed by the Minister of Higher Education, Chairman of the University Council.
بدأت الإدارة العامة للمكتبات ومصادر المعرفة في جامعة المجمعة العمل على تحسين مكتبات الجامعة منذ تعيين مشرف يتولى إدارة أعمالها في منتصف العام الهجري بتاريخ 22 / 6 /1431هـ ، وواصلت في جهودها حتى تم ترقيتها إلى عمادة لشؤون المكتبات وتم اختيار عميد لها في 29 / 11/ 1431هـ بعد صدور موافقة معالي وزير التعليم العالي رئيس مجلس الجامعة على هذا التعيين.
