الأهداف
أهداف المركز:
1. تطوير وإثراء المعرفة في مجال التطوع كمرتكز للتنمية المستدامة في المجتمع.
2. العمل على تفعيل ممارسة التطوع لدى منسوبي الجامعة.
3. العمل على تفعيل المبادرات التطوعية من خلال الشراكة مع مؤسسات القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني، وبالتنسيق مع الجهات ذات العلاقة في الجامعة.
4. المساهمة في وضع الحلول العلمية لتعزيز التطوع في المجتمع من خلال المبادرات والفرص التطوعية التي تحقق التنمية المستدامة في المجتمع.
Goals
1. Developing and enriching knowledge in the field of volunteering as a basis for sustainable development in society.
2. Activating the practice of volunteering among university staff.
3. Activating voluntary initiatives through partnership with government and private sector institutions, civil society organizations, and relevant authorities in the university.
4. Contributing to developing scientific solutions to promote volunteering in society through volunteer initiatives and opportunities that achieve sustainable development in society.

عن المركز
يعد مجال العمل التطوعي من أهم وأكثر المجالات الملحة للجامعات، وذلك بحكم طبيعة عمل الجامعات وأهدافها ورسالتها ودورها المؤثر في المجتمعات وقدرتها على معالجة قضايا المجتمع المحلي، بالإضافة إلى دورها الرئيس في قبول وتخريج الطلاب والبحث العلمي، الأمر الذي يحتم عليها إيجاد جهة ترتبط تنظيميا بالإدارة العليا في الجامعة، لتكون بمثابة الذراع التي تستطيع الجامعة من خلالها القيام بوظيفتها في تفعيل مهام العمل التطوعي وتحقيق أهدافها.
About the Center
Given their nature, objectives, mission as well as their influential role in societies not to mention their ability to address local community issues, The field of voluntary work is one of the most important areas for universities along with education and scientific research.
With that in mind, Majmaah University, being a national university, strives to contribute to creating the knowledge society based on the national vision. Besides its achievements in the educational and research, it also has a responsibility towards the local community.
