DEANSHIP OF QUALITY AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CONDUCTS THE SECOND FORUM OF INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION RENEWAL

 

Under the patronage of MU's rector, Saleh al-Mezal, and in the presence of the vice-rectors, deans and institutional self-study teams, the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development held the “Second Forum for Renewing Institutional Accreditation.”
The forum kicked off with a speech by the Dean of Quality, Dr. Faris Al-Faris, who highlighted the prominent achievements of the deanship and the institutional accreditation teams prior and after signing the institutional accreditation renewal contract with the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

The vice-rector for educational affairs, Prof. Muhammed Al-Aboudi, gave a broad account of the institutional accreditation system, followed by a talk for the vice-dean of Quality, Dr. Nouf Al-Mutairi, explaining the plan to renew the institutional accreditation until November 2023. 

Dr. Al-Mutawali Bedeir, the deanship's advisor, presented the institutional accreditation standards and the basic documents required to be attached to the National Center with the self-study. Highlighting the mechanism of work in the next stage, Dr. Al-Mutawli stressed the importance of applying the the initial self-evaluation and explained its method and procedures. A number of models were shared including the quality improvement plan for based on the results of the initial self-assessment.

In a speech delivered by MU's rector, Prof. al-Mezal commended the great work being done by the university to renew the accreditation to improve the quality of education, encouraging everyone to work collectively to achieve the university's goals.
