The Directorate of Occupational Health and Environment at female campus set up an awareness section with the theme “Safety and Occupational Health in academic Labs” at the colleges of medicine and applied medical science.
The sections featured an explanation of safety rules, chemical hazards and how to avoid them, safety measures and occupational health and best ways of washing hands in labs and clinics before and after work.
