Medical Services Launches Blood Donation Campaign for Pilgrims

Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Medical Services, Dr. Khalid Abdul Wahhabi, and with the following-up of Dr. Ryan Barakati, the Medical Services, in cooperation with Blood Bank Unit in King Khalid Hospital in Majmaah, launched a blood donation campaign for pilgrims, for 3 days between Tuesday, 11.24.1436 AH and Thursday, 11.26.1436 AH. on Red Tag shop's parking lot in Majmaah. The Manager of the Medical Services in Majmaah, Dr. Aser Al-Shurman, started the campaign in the presence of the Director of Laboratories Department at Health Center in Riyadh, Prof. Khalid Al-Matlab; the Coordinator of the blood bank units at Health Center in Riyadh, Prof. Mohsen Al-Otaibi and the Head of Al Faisaly Football Club, Mr. Fahd Al Medlej. “The campaign, which lasted for three days, proved to be very successful,” Said Dr. Barakati; he added, “It aims to serve pilgrims and support blood banks at Health Center in Mecca”. It is worth mentioning that Al-Faisaly Club and Fayhaa Club members both have visited the campaign and donated blood, thanking MU Rector for his concern and support for such national campaigns.
