Majmaah University – Medical Services – University Medical Centre

Location: Prince Salman St. opposite to Credit Bank

Target segment:

The Clinics provide its medical and precautionary services for all university staff including students, staff and their families

They also do the medical check-up for students and issue sick leave

The center components:

  1. The center has a number clinics :
  • 2 General Clinics
  • 2 Specialized Consulting Clinics on daily basis
  • Dentistry Clinic on daily basis
  1. An Emergency Room equipped with two beds as well as medications and equipment
  2. Pharmacy
  3. X-ray
  4. Laboratory
  5. Reception and E-Medical Record
  6. A Modern Ambulance

 

Working Hours :

First Period :

From 8 a.m. to 3 a.m.  the following clinics are available :

       2 General Clinics are operating:

  1. Consulting Clinic
  2. Dentistry Clinic

Second Period :

From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

General Clinics are operating. Two days a week are allocated for female clinics ( Sunday for General Female Clinic and Tuesday for Pregnancy Follow-up) Healthy Baby Clinics are to be added later.

E-records are made to save efforts, time and money and to ensure the safety of patients as well as reducing the number of mistakes that may occur in medicine prescription.  Therefore, e-records are linked to laboratory and x-ray.

e-records are also useful in conducting research and medical studies

The following cases are transferred to King Khalid Hospital in Majmaah

  1. Cases which require further diagnose
  2. Cases which require  specialist
  3. Cases which require anesthesia

 

  • The center conducts training programs for the medical cadres as follow:
  1. Continues profession development
  2. Nurse training in coordination with hospitals, Applied Medical Science College
  3. X-ray technician training

How to open a medical file

  1. A copy of I.D.
  2. A copy of staff or student card
  3. Filling the form of first visit
