Deanship of Scientific Research visits Sudair Pharma Company

Under the guidance of the Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, a delegation consisting staff from the Deanship of Scientific Research, the College of Applied Medical Science and the College of Medicine visited Sudair Pharma Factory in Sadir for Industry and Business Station to discuss ways of research cooperation.
The delegation was led by the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Thamer bin Shalih al-Harbi, the Vice Dean for Technical Affairs Dr. Saeed bin Saleh Banawas, Dr. Bader Al-Shehri of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Dr. Rashid Barada of the Faculty of Medicine.
This visit is one of the most important priorities of the Deanship of Scientific Research, and is considered as one of the most important cooperative research projects and an accelerator for the transfer of knowledge between academic experts at the university and the private/ industrial sector.
These projects focus on developing a world-class research and translating it into practical applications through collaborative projects between universities and industry.
Sudair Pharma Company is the first pharmaceutical factory of its kind in the Kingdom to manufacture chemical cancer treatments, both oral and intravenous.
The Executive Director of Sudair Pharma Company, Dr. Yasser Al-Obaida, introduced the factory with an explanation of the factory's sections and the most important future research and cooperative projects they attend to conduct with Majmaah University.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Thamer bin Shalih al-Harbi extended his thanks to Sudair Pharma Company, headed by Dr. Yasser Al-Obaida for the good reception and the will to cooperate in terms of research with Majmaah University.
