A delegation of Quality and Development Skills has a look at the experience of Qaseem University in Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation

 

In respond to the directives of His Highness the Rector to prepare the university to be eligible for the participation of the developmental assessment, a delegation of quality and skills development deanship headed by His Excellency the dean of quality and skills development, Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Jarallah, His Excellency the deputy of quality and academic accreditation, Mr. Abdelrahman Al-Rebeyaan and His Excellency the supervisor of skills development deputyship, Mr. Yasser Bin Bader Al-Huzeimi paid a visit to the deanship of quality assurance and accreditation at Qaseem University in attempt to exchange experience and view the efforts being exerted by the university in the field of quality and academic accreditation. The delegation was received by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Ibraheem Al-Mesheyqeeh ( dean of quality assurance and accreditation) and Prof. Mohammad Mahran, the deanship consultant. The discussion focused on the experience of Qaseem University in developing the quality assurance and academic accreditation as well as the difficulties faced by the university and the optimal solutions for these obstacles.

In the meeting, a review was made about the system of information center and decision support which was established via the developmental assessment project at Qaseem University. The center is regarded as the main reference responsible for providing the other university units with statistical data as well as the availability of performance assesment pointers for supreme administration to facilitate the process of making decision
