Deanship of Quality and Skills Development Holds a Workshop on the internal audit of academic programs

The Deanship of Quality and Skills Development carried out the internal audit workshop of the academic programs on Tuesday 27/5/1439 at the Training Hall of the Deanship in the Male Section and in the training hall of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education for Women. The workshop was also was aired to both the Colleges of Education and Science in Zulfi and the College of Science and Humanities in Rumah.

Attended by 80 participants, the workshop aims to improve and develop the faculty and staff members at the University in the field of quality of academic programs in preparation for internal and external academic accreditation.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Dean of Quality and Skills Development, Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Aboudi who thanked everyone for their interaction and their efforts in the activities of quality which had a great impact in spreading the quality culture on campus, stressing the importance of internal audit and its significant role in institutional accreditation.

After that, the Vice-Dean of Quality Assurance, Dr. Abdullah bin Saeed Bajhazar talked about the objectives of the review, proposed timetables for the visits, explained the important items related to this visit and reviewed the teams in charge of the visit.

Then the Vice-Dean for Academic Accreditation Mr. Tawfiq bin Saleh Al-Mudeheim gave an overview of the main procedures related to the internal review.

After that, the advisors of the Deanship Dr. Metwally Ismail and Dr. Mahmoud Tharwat presented the internal audit requirements and the way to verify them. The meeting concluded by opening the door for discussions and inquiries with the team of the Deanship of Quality.
