Upon signing the cooperation memorandum between the university and public administration to combat drug, H.E. Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al Moqrin, the director of the university issued his instructions to all faculties, deaneries and administrations within the university to accelerate the activation of this convention and to make it applicable plus interpretation of this memorandum into joint ventures which contribute to the spreading of awareness for these toxics through focusing on the regions served by the university.
This will be executed through a campaign definition of the convention and the significant role it plays. Also, building a cooperation for spreading the culture of the convention among university members which includes a number of fields, including researches, training, protection against drugs, making all the society classes aware of the drug risks, training and rehabilitation of workers in some governmental authorities to help in spreading awareness for such danger and coaching leaders and workers in the directorate branches within the regions served by the university in favor of developing their skills. This should be done according to specialties of each authority within the university, fields and aspects stated in the convention. In addition, opening the door for any suggestions, ideas and initiatives that contribute to the activation of the convention for the achievement of its objectives as well as activation of recommendations of the coordinating meetings. There have been a number of drawings which talk about the convention and its fields in all faculties and the affiliated deaneries of the university.
