DEANSHIP OF ACADEMIC RESEARCH CONDUCTS TWO WORKSHOPS TITLED ‘ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERS’ RESEARCH PRIORITIES’ AND ‘ FACULTY MEMBERS IN ZULFI’

In respond to the directives of His Highness the Rector to communicate with all colleges of the university in the various regions and to meet the needs of the society in accordance with the strategic plan, the deanship represented in His Excellency the dean Dr. Mohammad Bin Nasser Al-Sweid, Dr. Ibraheem Al-Huseynan, deputy dean and Prof. Tariq Isamil, dean consultant conducted  two workshops in Zulfi.

The first workshop was held with more than 30 local leaders from Zulfi in attempt to bridge the gap between the university and the society. Those leaders are representative of the following sectors: police station, traffic department, education ministry, Zulfi municipality, drug combat department, electricity company, Reyadah institute, promotion of virtue and prevention of vice authority, charitable organizations, Municipal council, technical college and agriculture department.  The workshop focused on the role of academic research on the sustainable social development. A survey made of five topics was distributed to identify the priorities of academic research in a way to assist the society as well as solving the problems encountered by Zulfi.

The second workshop was conducted for faculty members. The major topics of the workshop are the same like the first workshop except with the survey topic number. This workshop  survey has 9 topics to identify the priorities from the perspective of faculty members .
