THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES HOLDS A SEMINAR ENTITLED “ DEVELOPMENT AND THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION”

A series of weekly discussion meetings was launched by the Vice Deanship of Studies and Developments for the faculty members in the College of Sciences and Humanities of Hutat Soudir and the College of AlMujama'a, under the supervision of Dr. Zied ALamer. The aim was to attain effective communication among the faculty members and among the members of the administrative committee. The assistant teacher in the department of business Dr. Jamal Ridha Halawa delivered a lecture entitled "The Development and the Quality of Education". He introduced new and creative ideas and used the method of brainstorming which motivates freedom of expressing ideas and opinions leading to constructive recommendations. He brought a comprehensive definition of the concept of development. He said: "Development is the most efficient use of material and human resources to develop all the economic, administrative and social aspects with no dependency". He also stressed that in order to achieve the quality of education in general there must be an interest in the quality at all the stages of pre-higher and higher education.

The meeting was honored with the presence of his Excellency the dean Dr. Tarek bin Solaymen Albahlel and his Excellency the vice chancellor of Educational Affaires Dr. Omar bin Salem Alsaidi. Finally, the coordinator of the weekly discussion meetings Dr. Achref Ahmad Albaklish organized a discussion with the audience and answered all the questions proposed to him.
