MU ACHIEVES ISO 2008-9001 CERTIFICATION FOR 3RD TIME

Following the visit of an internal examiner , Majmaah University has managed to achieve the certification of ISO 2008-9001 in quality management system for the third time consecutively. The external examiner, who was welcomed by the Dean of Quality and Skills Development Deanship Dr. Mohammed Al-Oubudi, could not find non-conformity cases during his visit. 

The visit of the external examiner included the deanship of quality and skills development, general department of operations and maintenance, general department of administrative and financial affairs.
A meeting was held at the end of this visit chaired by MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and the ISO team Mr. Majed Al-Manea and Mr. Fahad Al-Mutairi. 
 
Dr. Al-Mugren stressed that the primary purpose of obtaining ISO is to enhance the quality of administrative management to the highest level and not to achieve the certification. 
 
The external examiner team announced the results and congratulated MU for being entitled to have the certification renewed as non-conformity cases were not found. The Team also complimented the extent to which MU has reached in terms of the quality of services provided to beneficiaries and recommended the preparation for ISO 9001-2015 certification.
