COMMUNITY SERVICE AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION DEANSHIP HOLDS A CONSULTATIVE MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE MINISTRY OF CIVIL SERVICE AND THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF AL MAJMA’AH

As part of the university administration concerns and its constant guidance on the need to engage with the relevant authorities to achieve the goals pursued by the university in favor of the people of the country, The Community Service deanship has organized, on Monday morning 05/20/1434 AH at the conference room of the deanship in the university city, a consultative meeting which  included Mr. Yasser Al-Otaibi; a specialist in the Ranking Administration at the Ministry of Civil Service, Mr. Abdul Aziz Alkhamees; a specialist from the Employment Assistive Agency at the Ministry of Civil Service, Mr. Bandar Sweelh a specialist from the Studies Assistive Agency at the Ministry of civil Service, Mr. Abdullah Aljawan; General Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Al Majma’ah as well as the deanship staff. His Excellency the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs D. / Adel Amodhua presided over the meeting during which points on the agenda were discussed and present and future projects of the faculty were deliberated. In addition, the agenda of programs was studied in terms of classification and employment. All approved university programs by the Ministry of Civil Service were displayed followed by a presentation of the labor market needs for technological, medical and administrative programs.

As a result, several important recommendations were issued among which the need to adhere to the programs’ terminology (bridge - Diploma) approved by the Ministry of Civil Service.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Vice Dean expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the participants in the meeting for enriching the Deanship with valuable information.

The meeting falls within the context of the deanship interest in following the directives of the university administration about the importance of community participation and benefaction from governmental agencies in the pursuit of quality programs. It is worth mentioning that this consultative meeting represents an unprecedented event at the level of universities for a more unified and clear vision of the goals of the implemented programs that serve the people of this generous country.
