HIS EXCELLENCY (HE) THE RECTOR LAYS THE FOUNDATION STONE FOR PRESSING PROJECTS AT THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES IN HAWTAT SUDAIR

His Excellency the rector Dr. Khaled ben Saad al-Muqrin laid the foundation stone of building projects which support the Faculty of Sciences and Humanities. These projects include building several classrooms which are equipped with the latest teaching aids for students in Hutat Soudir.

Upon his arrival, His Excellency was greeted by HE the dean Dr. Tarek Albahlal, the vice chancellor Dr. Omar Saidi and some of the university staff and deans at the faculty. His Excellency the head of Hutat Soudir Center Pr. Fahd Alzakri and a number of government departments executives in Hutat Soudir were also present.

His Excellency the rector and the head of Hutat Soudir Center laid the corner stone of the construction of halls, auditoriums, and urgent laboratory sections for both female and male students. Each project will cost 13.997.1137 Million Rials and will be implemented over a period of 18 months. Then his Excellency toured the university where he inaugurated the students gym about which he was briefed.  He launched the university website on the portal and visited its new location where he cut the ribbon and laid its foundation stone. Then, Dr. Mohamed Darweesh provided a detailed explanation of the projects. His Excellency inspected the project to check the work progress and what has been done so far.

 At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the rector Dr. khaled Almuqrin thanked the Custodian of the Two Wholly Shrines; King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, and his deputy the Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, God protect them, for the amount of developmental projects they allocated to the university complex this year. Dr. Khaled was happy with these projects which would contribute to the development of the university infrastructure. He explained that such projects will lead to further development in the university, which will enable it to achieve a number of planned objectives and make further improvements. Furthermore, all the university annexes as deanships, colleges and departments and including premises and laboratories will be provided with facilities to develop individual and academic skills to reach an overall development at the college, God Will. HE also added that these projects reflected the will of the honest and wise leadership of the country, May God Protect and Help them, that is striving to upgrade higher education and to take care of the infrastructure, facilities, headquarters, and equipments. This is in fact what the Ministry of Higher Education with all its equipments and departments is keen to achieve.
