DEANSHIP OF STUDENT AFFAIRS ORGANIZES A FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT FOR UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES

Since Deanship of Students Affairs, represented by Administration of Sporting and Scouting Activities, believes in the importance of sports for everybody, Deanship has organized a football tournament for university employees. The tournament includes all deanships, faculties and administrations of the university; all of them have been addressed, and they responded positively. There are twenty one different participatory teams. Earlier, the rituals of drawing lots were conducted completely in the honor of his Excellency Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi and in the presence of Deanship vice Dean for student activities Mr. Khaled Alofeisan, the supervisor of sporting and scouting activities Mr. Naser Alhanou, the members of Administration of Sporting and Scouting Activities as well as the coordinators of participatory teams. Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi started the meeting with a welcoming speech where he extended his thanks to all attendees for their participation in the tournament, and he expressed his impression with the competitive spirit in everybody. Then, his Excellency started drawing lots that led to the schedule of tournament. All the tournament matches will be held in His Highness Prince Salman Abdulaziz's Sporting City in Almajmaah, and under reliable refereeing approved by Saudi Federation of Football. This was mentioned by the supervisor of sporting and scouting activities Mr. Alhanou who extended his thanks, Administration of Sporting Activities and all participatory authorities to his Excellency Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi for his continuous efforts and constant follow-up and support for all activities. After the lot rituals, Dr. Alghemeizi explained that such a sport and all its events come from the directions of his Excellency University Rector Dr. KHaled Saad Almuqrin that stress upon the quality and comprehensiveness of the programs Deanship of Student Affairs offers.
