THE FIRST MEETING OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL OF THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES IN HAWTAT SUDAIR

With God’s Benediction and His Bounty, the first meeting of the Advisory Council of the College of Science and Humanities in Houtat Sudair in the college building in the presence of members of the Council that was headed by His Excellency the College Dean Dr. Tarek Bin Sulaiman Albouhlal.
The meeting began with a speech from the Dean who talked about the college, what has been achieved in this period, the objectives of the Council and its raison d’être, and the Council's basic functions and its working mechanism.  HE elaborated on the plan distributed to faculty members. He then talked about the college standing projects and the new project for the College (new College headquarters), and said that it would be one of the high-profile projects in the region. He also spoke about the problems faced by the College, such as the distance between cities and the transportation difficulties, as the college is emerging. Then the attendees asked the Dean some questions on how to increase the number of departments and how to further develop college.

  Then the Dean requested that faculty members vote on the composition of the Council, who voted unanimously for Dr. Tarek Bin Sulaiman Albouhlal as the chairman of the council. Dr.  Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar was also selected as Vice President of the Council, and Professor Abdul Aziz bin Ali Muneef as Secretary of the Board.
After that, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar congratulated the members on their choice and their representing of the people of the region and wished that that they would be useful for this committee, God willing. At the end of the meeting, the Dean thanked all members for their honoring attendance.
