The Scientific Board at King Saud University, in its fifteenth session for the academic year 1433/1434 H, which was held on Sunday, 28/04/1434 H, issued a resolution to promote Dr. Mohammed bin Othman Al Rukban, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Majmaah University, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and the supervisor of the Medical Services at Majmaah University, to a professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, King Saud University.
Professor Mohammed bin Othman Al Rukban holds PhD degree in Family and Community Medicine. He is a faculty member at the department of Family and Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, King Saud University. Dr. Mohammed bin Othman Al Rukban has conducted a number of scientific, Administrative and leadership positions, where he worked as a demonstrator, a lecturer, assistant professor then associate professor before the resolution has been issued by the Scientific Board to promote him to a professor, in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine.
He also served as a Chairman of the Family Medicine Unit at the Faculty of Medicine at King Saud University, Head of the Center for Quality Assurance, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Academic Affairs at King Fahd Medical City, and Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, then Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Majmaah University, as a recent resolution of his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education has been issued to commission him a Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at the University of Majmaah. During his scientific and practical career, Professor Mohamed bin Othman Al Rukban, has conducted a number of chairmanship and membership of many National Scientific, and Medical committees, where he presented lectures and research at local conferences, Arab and international.
