DEANSHIP OF E-LEARNING AND DISTANCE LEARNING INTRODUCES AN INDUCTION SESSION ABOUT THE NEW VERSION OF COMMITTEES AND BOARDS SYSTEM

Under the guidance of his Excellency, the Rector to perform an integrated system associated with committees and boards, Deanship of E-learning and Distance Learning at the university has organized , in coordination with the Standing Committee to coordinate the work of committees and follow it-up, a special course   dedicated to the secretaries of committees, boards, and sections on Tuesday  30/04/1434 H; to inform them about the features of the second version of the system. In order to develop their skills in the preparation of reports of the committees and boards as well as  writing the topics, discussions and recommendations.

In the beginning of the session, the Vice Deanship, Mr. Thamer bin Ali Al Dghaishi, presented  a detailed explanation about the system and its mechanism  in the new version, and the ways of taking advantages of its features in this version. In addition to what has been added of other features as well as  properties and powers of the user, besides a detailed explanation about the report's running from the point of writing it to the point of submitting it to his Excellency  the Rector.  In this context, a meeting was held with the General Supervisor of the Office of his Excellency the Rector and the Dean of E-learning and Distance Learning, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al Dosary, to explain and clarify the main observations that  one must focus on when preparing the report, where everyone got acquainted with the perfect procedures, so the secretaries of committees and councils must adhere to these procedures when preparing meetings and reports as well. He also explained some of the observations which were repeated during the previous period in the content of reports which negatively impacted to activate the system as required. At the end of the meeting a recommendation was set about the possibility of practical training for the new secretaries to deal with the system of committees and boards as well , or the secretaries who wish to develop their capabilities, where the practice should be after the meeting immediately . The place for training is in the training hall of  E-learning Centre which is located in the University City in Majmaah.
