A DELEGATION FROM THE DEANSHIP OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, ENGINEERING RESEARCH CENTER AND APPLIED SCIENCES AT THE UNIVERSITY VISITS JAPAN

 

Saudi Cultural Attaché in the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Japan welcomed  a delegation from the Deanship of Scientific Research, Engineering Research Center, and Applied Science at the University. The visit started by visiting Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, where the delegation was welcomed by His Excellency the Ambassador, Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Sattar Turkistani. The delegation met  His Excellency,  exchanged cordial talks, and conveyed the greetings of his Excellency the Rector. His Excellency the Ambassador talked about the available chances to Majmaah university like other Saudi universities since it is the first visit of the delegation to the  Empire of Japan.

 His Excellency the Ambassador hoped the university could put the cooperation and benefit from the scientific progress and research in Japan as a priority, then the delegation accompanied his Excellency the Ambassador to the Islamic Center in Tokyo, where the delegation met the Head of the Islamic Center, Dr. Khalid Al shwairkh who displayed a detailed presentation about the work and activities of the Islamic Center.

 The delegation has met a number of Saudi students, then the delegation visited Tokyo technical Exhibition, identified the modern techniques used in automobiles industry. The tour was rich with new information in this area. The delegation has also identified in the exhibition the way of using  COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS technology in automobiles design which means : studying the effect of distributing temperatures, pressures, speeds of air on automobiles design, and transportation systems. The delegation suggested that the university could take advantage of this technology, which is an emulation by using computers in writing researches in these areas, not forgetting that the financial cost is less in comparison with the construction of laboratories, where constructing labs needs a license of Computer Program, as well as the need to train university cadres  in collaboration with the experts of international companies.
