DEANSHIP OF E-LEARNING WRAPS UP MORE THAN 33 COURSES, TRAINING MORE THAN 600 IN THE FIELD OF E-LEARNING

The Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education in Majmaah University wrapped up a sires of  qualitative training courses in the field of e-Learning, targeting  faculty members in the different colleges of the University during the first semester 1433/1434.The Dean of e-Learning and Distance Education, Dr. Musalam Aldawsari pointed out that the deanship sought to disseminate the culture of e learning and its educational applications and provide training on e-learning system for the targeted group, which included faculty members in the university. The course aimed to render  the effective skills in the field of e-learning, which would favorably influence on achieving goals of quality in education. He added that nomination for the courses was done  through entering  in the Unified Admission System to provide the training unit in the deanship with the names  of the (male) faculty member  trainees. The system allows choice of five courses, with the possibility of modification and asking for information about the courses through communication with Training Administration.

 

Dr. Musalam Aldawsari added that in the continuous  and simultaneous training courses, 605 faculty members have been trained in the  different colleges of the University in Majmmah, Zulfi, Alghat, Rumah and Hutat-Sdeer. The course were  organized in well prepared training rooms in the premises of the colleges, supervised by deanship coordinators; a coordinator per a course. On the other hand  the deanship started executing these courses from 10/1/1434 until the end of the current semester. The total training courses organized by the deanship were 35  qualitative courses in the field of e-Learning as  follows:

  • Use of Technology  in Forensic Sciences.
  • Applications of Educational Design, using Photoshop.
  • Facebook & Twitter Skills in the field of Education.
  • Professional Participation of Files and Distance Projects.
  • Blog Creation and Management of Educational  Documents.
  • Twitter Use for Education.
  • Google Drive Applications in field of e. Learning.
  • E-learning Culture.
  • Art of  Managing Educational Meetings  Through Using Technology.
  • How to Design an Electronic Test.
  • e-Learning Skills ( in English).
  • Google Group Skills in e-Learning.

The Deanship also announced that it will  organize a series of  training courses during the Second Semester, Allah willing.
