MEDICAL SERVICES ANNOUNCES THE RUNNING OF THE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER

 

 Medical Services announced the running of the University Medical Center, which is located on Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Street in Majmaah, on the purpose of providing the preventive and curative services  to faculty members , employees of the university and their families, as well as the students. Dr. Mohammed bin Othman Al Rukban, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and supervisor of Medical Services, said that the operational plan for the clinics of the Medical Services is aiming to serve  all faculty members and university employees and provide them with the preventive and curative services. Dr. Al Rukban stated the center consists of several clinics, including two general clinics , and two consultation clinics such as Cardiology Clinic, Ophthalmology Clinic, Pediatric Clinic, Internal Medicine Clinic, Chronic Disease Clinic, Neurology Clinic, Psychiatric Clinic, Family Medicine Clinic, Quit Smoking Clinic , as well as Dental Clinic and  Emergency Room. Dr. Al Rukban added that the working hours at the clinic will be on two shifts, from  eight in the morning to three o'clock in the evening , and from eight pm to ten pm. Besides, those clinics will be assigned for women in the second shift for two days, Sunday and Tuesday, where the Gynecology Clinic will be on Sunday, and the Antenatal Care Clinic on Tuesday. Dr. Al Rukban  also added that the booking for the Center Clinics should be via transferring from the clinics in the faculties of the university. However, the Public Clinics should be by contacting  the Center on this number( 064310950) or by visiting the Centre and registering. In future, the booking will be activated to be via the university site. At the end of his speech, Dr. Mohammed bin Othman Al Rukban expressed his thanks and appreciation to the his Excellency, the Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin for his unending support and ongoing guidance to achieve the quality in the provided services.
