THE UNIVERSITY WILL ORGANIZE THE OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCES MEETING FOR SAUDI CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS DURING SAFAR NEXT YEAR

 

The University is preparing to organize the Distinguished Experiences Meeting for Saudi Charitable Organization which will be held during the month of Safar, next year 1434 H. His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Sa'ad Al-Mogren launched earlier in his Office the first meeting of working committees in the forum and announced the starting of its work. His Highness also welcomed everyone and thanked the Deanship of Community Service on this initiative and urged all heads of committees to work hard and with dedication to achieve the intended goals and pointed out that the University is ready to provide all the needs needed by committees.
The Dean of Community Service, Dr. Omar Bin Musa'ad Al-Shariofi mentioned about the meeting and its goals in which he stated that the meeting comes as a result of the University awareness of its role towards the local community and its issues, as well as providing scientific and practical solutions to the various problems and analyzing the opportunities and challenges. The Deanship has strove to hold firstDistinguished Experiences Meeting for Saudi Charitable Organization under the title (Towards Distinguish Charitable Work).It is worthy to mention that volunteer work is witnessing remarkable development in its projects and programs worldwide due to rapid changes at all levels including political, economic, social and media change which resulted in huge gap among organizations working in the field of voluntary that posed many inquiries about the reasons behind the success of charitable organizations. He also added that the meeting seeks to achieve a number of goals among which is spreading the education of outstanding charitable work in the community and discussing the role of community of all parties involved in charity work. The meeting also highlights the role of media in spreading charitable work as well as seeking partnerships between public and private sector and charitable organizations.  He also mentioned the importance of exchanging experiences with charitable organizations and to take advantage of their successful experiences in the field of charitable work.  He also added a number of themes have been identified including including excellent administrative methods for programs and charitable projects based on scientific distinctive framework, employing electronic technology in charitable work within sophisticated computer programs that provide charitable projects differently, Positive activation strategies for community partnership through the involvement of the widest possible segment of society members, developed programs for the development of entrepreneurship and positiveness towards voluntary work in community groups and students in particular, professional means in marketing and advertising programs and charitable projects through distinctive ideas and methods, continuous improvement for the organization programs based on continuous and integrated assessment by all involved in the organization and the best exploitation of the organization resources and developing them in order to achieve self-sufficiency in the future. He finally concluded his speech by thanking the Rector for his sponsorship of the first meeting as well as his support for the idea of the meeting and the guidance to facilitate the work of the committees.
