Deanship of e-learning and distance learning conducted a program titled (The training cloud to promote the knowledge of e-learning and its applications in higher education) in two workshops: First: the knowledge of e-learning and its educational applications (for men) and e-learning and promising technology (for women) the second: the knowledge of computers in e-learning (for men).In this regard, His Excellency the Dean of e-learning and distance learningDr.Musallam Bin Mohammed Al Dossary that the Dean is seeking in all its activities to overcome all the difficulties that hinder the learning process in all colleges of the university in various provinces and to spread the knowledge of e-learning with all its applications. He also noted a.Mr. Faisal Bin Hakim Al-Shammari, the director of the Training Unit in the Deanship noted that the program of the cloud of training for promoting the knowledge of e-learning and its applications in higher education included the participation of lecturers from all faculties in the provinces of Zulfi, Ghat, Remah and the city of Hawtat Sudair, where the system of admission and registration was built based on the training need for each Faculty and region. More than 123 trainees from faculty members in various majors have registered. 93 who were trained which represent 81% of applicants for training. The women training section was supervised byMunirah Al-Zoman.He also added that the program is implemented in each province separately, and aims to introduce the field of e-learning and its educational applications at the university, and to contribute to the promotion and success of all systems and software of e-learning in higher education. moreover is to create positive trends towards modern technology, to show the activities of the Deanship of e-learning and its role in training, and electronic equipment as well as the practice of educational applications. This program in its first workshop is centered around the introduction to the art of e-learning and its skills as well as its future and the software that lead to its development. In its second workshop about the essential computer applications to learn any skill in the field of e-learning techniques which include introduction to Windows and Office package as well as Internet and e-mail. It is noteworthy that the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning seeks to prepare for a number of training programs during the two semesters for the new academic year 1433 H /1434 H. and will be announced at the time. The Dean thanks its coordinators of the Deanship in the colleges who have communicated and supported during the training sessions, and they are Mr.Jabr Fahham,Riad Almashrafi, Saleh Alsakaker, Mohmad Aba husein andAli Al-Maiman.
