A Delegation from the Association of Arab Universities visits the University

To examine the membership of the university to join the Association of Arab Universities, a delegation from the Association of Arab Universities visited the University. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu Urabi Al Adwan, Secretary General of the Association and Professor Ekhleif Tarawneh President of Al Balqa Applied University. They were received upon arrival to the University by Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al-Muqrin and a number of university officials. A meeting was held in the Rector’s office where they addressed the importance of joining the Arab Association and the conditions that must be met. Comprehensive information about the university was also reviewed in addition to the academic and administrative situation, colleges, deanships and units contained and successes achieved. Then the Rector provided memorial trophies that included University model of the university gate for the guests. After that, the delegation made a tour to the various university facilities included the Engineering College laboratories, Deanship of Information Technology and the Deanship of Admissions and Registration. Then the delegation accompanied by His Excellency the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohsen Bin Abdul Rahman Al Mohsen and a number of officials to the new University City building where they visited the faculties of Administrative Sciences and Humanities Faculty, the Applied Medical Sciences Faculty, Faculty of Medicine, Libraries Affairs Deanship, Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, Deanship of Quality and Skills Development and Deanship of Student Affairs. The delegation also visited the laboratories and study halls where they have seen the capabilities and equipment available in the university. After that, the delegation honored the lunch party in their honor. At the end of the visit, Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu Urabi Al Adwan and Professor Ekhleif Tarawneh praised what they have seen at the University of Possibilities and competent cadre qualified to achieve excellence and leadership for the university. They also expressed their admiration with the great enthusiasm and the spirit of youth, which leads the university and the achievements. They wish that the university will continue excellence and success.
 

The Association of Arab Universities is an Arab institution with independent legal personality based in Amman, the capital city of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Association was established upon the initiative from Cultural Department of the Arab League.
