On the occasion of Eid al-Fiter, his Excellency the Rector of the university, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, expressed his deepest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness deputy Crown Prince His Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and to the royal family members. His Excellency the Rector also congratulated all the employees of the university on this occasion praying to Allah Almighty to bless everyone with good and blessings, and to the dear homeland with pride and empowerment, adding we bid farewell to the Month of Ramadan-since Allah Almighty blessed us to fast and pray-we ask Allah Almighty that we have been successful to seize the days of Ramadan and its nights in order to get closer to Allah Almighty, and we ask Him to shower us with His forgiveness, pardon, and mercy, and we thank Allah that this blessing month, which comes every year to be a great occasion for self-examination and self-accountability, and everyone gets into the habit of good deeds, and we ask Allah to accept us and make us of those winners who have been rewarded with His forgives and protection of fire-Hell-. His Excellency added that after this blessing month, Eid al-Fitr is coming bringing with it the happiness, joy, and pleasure, as a reward sent by Allah Almighty to His slaves of Muslims after spending the month of Ramadan in fasting, praying, and doing good deeds, what a great occasion it is and what a great honour it is, he stated. Moreover, Eid al-Fiter is coming carrying on its wings sympathy and solidarity, where all Muslims show tolerance and leniency; the rich sympathizes with the poor, the old man takes care of the young , and the young respects the old , and everyone carries in his cheat pure heart, restful and calm self after being honoured by Allah Almighty to fast Ramadan and pray its days and its nights to eventually celebrate Eid al-Fiter, the day of joy and pleasure. It is worth mentioning that His Excellency is reminding us that this is the fifth Eid , which passes over the university amid a number of accomplishments and successes and outstanding steps that worth celebrating and pushing everyone to make more efforts and giving, which is what makes us stress on the necessity of commitment to the values of the university and its principles, and to work sincerely and devotedly and as one team in order to continue with these achievements under the shade of the great support that the university receives from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques-May Allah protect him- and from the follow-up of his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and his Excellency his deputy.
