Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Specifications Certification

The plan to obtain a certificate of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Specifications (OHSAS 18001)  was prepared and presented in a workshop that was attended by educational affairs Vice-Deans in the scientific colleges and Directors of the administrative, financial, operating and maintenance, and safety and security affairs at the university , in order to identify risks assess them in the various laboratories and facilities  of University and prepare contingency plans, in addition to providing safety for their employees, and the prevention of accidents and raise the level of awareness among workers, the recommendations of the workshop has been submitted for the Rector for approval, with addressing the General Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs with the technical specifications for the provision of financial item and call offers of competent companies.

 

           

 

This certificate is the latest certification for of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Specifications it is based on standards that has been already published and the Statute of Management in 1992 and it is a review of the specifications certification , it does not require legislation or an implementation guide. The system has been developed to help the various stakeholders to identify, assess and control the various working conditions which may cause personnel injury or exposing workers' health to risk.
