Undoubtedly, research is an important factor in the development and progress due to its effect in spreading the concepts of innovation and creativity, as well as equally presenting suitable solutions to the problems of the university and society. This young university, lead by its president, has decided to start where others finished, and to provide research with great interest and support that reflect the university’s strategic trends, along with emphasizing the necessity of essentially directing research activities to the sustainable development of the region

- توفير بيئة بحثية متميزة تساعد على تنمية مهارات الابتكار والإبداع وتساهم في حل المشكلات التي تواجهها الجامعة والمجتمع على حد سواء.
- دعم الأبحاث العلمية المتميزة سواء كانت نظرية أو تطبيقية مع تشجيع الباحثين على التركيز على البحوث التي تساهم في حل المشكلات التي يواجهها القطاع الحكومي والخاص في المنطقة.

دعم الأنشطة البحثية المتميزة مع التركيز على تلك الأنشطة التي تعنى بشكل اكبر في البيئة المحلية لتحقيق ميزة نسبية وخدمة المجتمع, وتوفير كافة الإمكانيات المادية والبشرية المطلوبة لخلق بيئة بحثية مثالية.
لا شك أن البحث العلمي من أهم أسباب تطور المجتمعات ورقيها, لما له من أثر في نشر ثقافة الابتكار والإبداع وتقديم الحلول المناسبة للمشاكل التي تواجه الجامعة والمجتمع على حد سواء.وقد ارتأت إدارة هذه الجامعة الفتيه بقيادة معالي مديرها أن تبدأ من حيث انتهى الآخرون وأن يحظى البحث العلمي باهتمام ودعم كبيرين يعكس التوجهات الإستراتيجية للجامعة, مع التأكيد على ضرورة توجيه الأنشطة البحثية بشكل أساسي بما يخدم التنمية المستدامة بالمنطقة.
The deanship seeks the following objectives:
Crystallizing a general vision of graduate studies and research that will uplift the university.
Setting up distinctive scientific programs that meet the requirements of development and employment.
Paying attention to Islamic and Arabic studies as well as expanding the research in them.
Preparing a generation of researchers who can contribute to the enhancement of the university and the community.

To build a research staff that is able to innovate and utilize scientific research in industry, production and the contemporary social issues. All through granting Master’s and Doctorate degrees that are judged in light of the standards of quality and academic accreditation.
The Deanship of Graduate Studies is the axis of communication between the university and the scientific and research institutes, both inside and outside the kingdom, in addition to being the university’s starting point to the world. Thus, it is one of the most important constituents of the university because it is tightly linked to the process of qualifying researchers in the various scientific fields which contribute to the advancement of society.

ـ تفعيل البحث العلمي في معالجة قضايا المجتمع المختلفة.
ـ زيادة معدلات الابتعاث الخارجي في مختلف مجالات البحث العلمي.
