Reception of Female Faculty Members at Science and Humanities College in Rumaah

The Deanship of Academic Affairs and Unit of General Relationships at the College of Science and Humanities in Rumaah organized a reception meeting on Monday 9/11/1436 AH to welcome the new faculty members for the academic year 1436-1437 AH. The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean, Labibah Alenizy, Assistant for Academic Affairs, Halimah Ashehry, and Departments Coordinators, as well as 22 faculty members. The meeting was Launched by a speech of Dean through a documentary about the College. Afterwards, the Vice-Dean gave a speech welcoming the attendants and encouraging them to work hard for the good of the College and development. Dr. Eitemad Hamad, the Head of Academic Guidance Unit, talked about the plan of the Academic Guidance Unit, demonstrated a summary of activities held on the first week (known as Week of Adding and Dropping Courses) and concluded her speech with some instructions to manage adding and dropping processes perfectly. In the speech of Assistant for Academic Affairs, Halimah Ashehry, she confirmed on the importance of providing assistance to the students and tracking the electronic attendance from day one. She also ordered to commit to the office hours and to develop courses. Moreover, the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research joined the meeting presenting the services and tasks under the umbrella of the deanship to support faculty members. Finally, a discussion was opened by the Assistant for Academic Affairs and joined by faculty members and departments coordinators ending up with adopting some opinions and suggestions to develop the College performance.
