THE SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCES FORUM OF THE UNIVERSITY DEPUTY-SHIPS FOR EDUCATIONAL AFFAIRS IS HELD AT THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND HUMAN STUDIES AT HOTAT SUDAIR

Through the initiative and organization of the College of Science and Human Studies in Hotat Sudair, the Successful Experiences Forum of the university deputy-ships for Educational Affairs was held on Tuesday, 11/06/1436 AH. The forum aimed to elucidate all the bright sides of a successful educational process on the university faculties’ level in one comprehensive forum that supports and motivates the educational process at the university level under the auspices of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Romaih. The Forum Objectives: - To keep on the development and improvement of the academic deputy-ships at the University - To support the initiatives and creative ideas at the deputy-ships of educational affairs. - To strengthen the strategic guidance of the deputy-ships of educational affairs. Forum Motto: “We Meet; We Rise Towards a Better Education” The Dean of the College, Dr. Tariq Bin Sulaiman Al Bahlal, started the forum with a welcoming speech, where he welcomed the attendees, and commended the College Deanship for Educational Affairs for its role in the forum, and its concern to raise the standards of the educational process by benefiting from the experiences of others; he also stressed the significance of supporting these initiatives for their importance in raising the standards of the educational services at the college. After that, the college Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Yousef Bin Mohammad Al Mahwus, welcomed the university Vice Rector and Deputy Deans for Educational Affairs, and all the successful experiences providers. Next, the university Vice Rector for Educational Affairs talked about the forum and the contributions made by the university colleges’ deputy-ships for educational affairs, which serve the educational process in their colleges; he also appreciated their roles in developing, improving and promoting initiatives and creative ideas, and sharing the experiences of the deputy-ships for educational affairs among themselves for mutual benefit, and in order to achieve cognitive and scientific excellence. Then, the Vice Rector announced the opening of the forum sessions; here’s a brief report on the forum: - (28) Successful educational experiences were presented in the forum from (9) colleges in addition to the Deanship of Preparatory Year. - (3) Scientific sessions were conducted, where (15) varied and elected successful scientific experiments were reviewed. The participating colleges with successful experiences are the following: 1- The College of Education - Majmaah. 2- The College of Science and Humanities - Al Ghat. 3-The College of Engineering - Majmaah 4- The College of Education -Zulfi. 5- The College of Science and Humanities - Rumaah. 6- The Community College. 7- The College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology. 8- The College of Sciences and Human Studies – Hotat Sudair. 9- The Deanship of Preparatory Year. Dr. Yousef Bin Mohammad Al Mahwus concluded the forum with some phrases, indicating that through the extrapolation of the audience, led by the university Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, it became clear that there is a fundamental need for such educational forums through which distinctive experiences and practices are shared among the colleges of the University; he also talked about the wonderful effort exerted by the deputy-ships for Educational Affairs, represented by their units, for the success of the educational process within the colleges. At the end of the forum, the participating colleges with successful experiences were honored. The forum organized by the college’s Deanship for Educational Affairs received distinctive media coverage from the Media Committee and the Unit of Public Relations at the College
